We offer many services when it comes to restorations. What is right for you? We will need to discuss this with you on your first appointment where, together, we will come up with an appropriate treatment plan that is right for you.
Many of our restorations are done using the CEREC System. This allows us to design, prepare and bond many restorations in a single visit. If a CEREC crown, veneer, inlay or onlay is not right for you, ask us about our other services such as bonding, tooth colored fillings, bridges, dentures, partial dentures and porcelain-metal fused crowns.
Further Clarification:
Crowns, by definition, cover the entire exposed portion of the tooth. The tooth is initially prepared by removing the outer enamel and eventually the crown is bonded in its place.
Inlays and onlays are similar - they are both types of partial crowns. An onlay is a partial crown that covers at least one cusp whereas an inlay sits between the cusps.
Veneers are porcelain "fronts" to your front teeth. They are bonded to the front of your teeth after the tooth is prepared. They are most often used to close gaps without the use of orthodontics.
